IT'S POTTY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight was one of those nights that a mommy just won't forget! I have been thinking and debating for some time now on when to start introducing the idea of potty training to my sweet Jantzy! I really wanted Jantzen to start training around summer time. We figured we would get the potty out now to get him used to it and comfortable with it, since it took Jaxson 6 months to even sit on the potty out of fear! So after bath tonight we introduced the singing potty to Jantzy! He LOVED it. Jaxson kept showing him how you sit on it, how you flush it, and so on. So Jantzen sat down on the potty and I told him to try to go potty. I told him to just push really hard. So Jantzen grunted as loud as he could, and then he started to potty! We were all screaming, clapping, and cheering him on! We couldn't believe that he was actually going potty! We told him he could have a Hershey Kiss since he was a big boy! So he ran to the kitchen and got a Hershey Kiss, then he ran back to the potty and squeezed with all his might and pottied some more! Then he said, "Hershey Kiss??" And of course we gave him a Hershey Kiss! This happened about four more times tonight! We were all so happy! Jax kept going and getting Jantzen toilet paper. After Jantzen got his diaper back on, Jaxson went up to Jantzen and gave him a big hug and said, "Jantzen, I am so proud of you!" It was precious! Jantzen called Honey and Pal, Grandi and Grandpa and said, "I potty, I potty!!" He was one proud boy tonight! Jantz's inspiration came from his big bro, after we were all dressed in pajamas and read our books, Jaxson was on his potty going before bed, and Jantzen walked in to see... and with his arms held behind his back, he muttered out a soft but impressed "Wow... Cool!" This was a monumental day in our little Jantzen's life!! We just wanted to share it with you.
