We barely survived our trip to the great state fair. It started off not so good when our pimpin mini van got stuck in the nasty mud! Poor Jaaf had to push the van out of the mud while I was panicking that we were going to have to get a tow truck!! Praise the Lord we got the car out of the mud after Jaaf wipe off all the mud from our tires with a diaper! Who knew they had more than one purpose!! After we parked we walked through the nasty ankle deep mud to get into the state fair! Let me just say the smell was horrendous! We had mud everywhere on us, but at least we made it in! We decided to eat some yummy fair food first before doing anything else! Then we headed off to see the petting zoo and ride a camel! After that we went to Disney on Ice with our two older boys. Jantzen was so excited and couldn't believe that he saw the real Lightening McQueen! Jantzen did not like the scary parts like when the sea witch took Ariel's voice and when Simba's dad died in the Lion King! Sometimes I wonder what in the world was Disney thinking! You could hear all the little kids crying whenever these two things happened! The boys had enough and by intermission so we headed back out to the fair so that Jaxson could do the sling shot!!!! They hooked Jax up to bungee cords and lifted him up in the air and then this teenager grabbed the cords and bounced Jax off of the trampoline as hard as he could which flew him about 20 feet into the air! He was so excited to do it, but after the first shot into the air I could tell he was afraid. He told us when it was done that he was scared, but wanted to be brave! We were very proud of him!!

Jantzen giggled the whole time and just loved feeding all of the animals
