Are We There Yet??????

San Antonio here we come! The Gassid family is on our way to our first family vacation with the four of us!! Our dear friends Dustin and Lindsay Ash are letting us join them on their family vacation! Our hotel is right off the river walk in San Antonio! Our plan is to go to Sea World tomorrow, then to enjoy the river walk tonight and on Saturday!! The boys cannot wait to see Shamu. On the Sea World web site they have a 24 hour web camera of Shamu. You can check anytime of the day to see what Shamu is doing. Last night we checked, and she was sleeping. This morning she was swimming, twirling, and diving into the water! Jaxson is so excited! I told Jaxson that we were going to go see Shamu and watch her swim and dance in the water. He told me that he would rather go see the dolphins catch a flag in their mouths! We are just outside of Austin right now, so about an hour away. On the way here Jaxson kept asking if we were at Shamu's house yet??? He asked this a numerous amount! Then he finally said, "This is taking FOR-EV-ER!!!!" The boys have somehow managed to stay awake the whole 6 1/2 hour trip so far!!! I am sure they will fall asleep the second we get there! The boys have played nicely, read lots of books, and so on! We did have one little moment of unhappiness when Jaxson said to Jantzen, "Keep your hands to yourself!" I just hope Jax won't be too disappointed that we are not going straight to Shamu's house!!!!
