We were so so blessed to be able to meet our friends the Hayes in Galveston to have a fun fun day at the beach!! This was the first time that any of the boys had been to the beach!! They LOVED it!! I loved watching their little faces light up as we were driving into Galveston and getting closer to the the beach. They couldn't believe the ocean!! It was just such a joy all day!! They didn't want to get out of the water, but we had to eat!! We played and played in the ocean all morning and afternoon. Jett kept laying on his tummy saying, "Look at me mommy, I swimmy I swimmy!!!" Jantzen loved trying the boogie board and surfing! Jaxson just wanted to jump every wave! He was way too fast for us and kept getting deeper and deeper into the ocean!! Finally we caught up with him and told him he had to stay closer to the beach! I was praising the Lord all day for protecting the boys!! The water is not clear, so if one were to go under, there would of been no way to see them! At one point the boys and their friends were trying to catch fish in the ocean, and they ended finally getting one!! They were thrilled, so thrilled that they kept releasing that fish and catching him again to the point where the fish ended up dying!! Oh well, he was probably meant to be fish food anyways, right? After a fun day of swimming in the ocean, making sand castles, feeding the birds, we took the boys shopping for souvenirs. Jaxson bought a few sea shells, and Jantzen bought some sea shells and an $8 shark magnet!! I tried talking him out of it, but he insisted it would make him remember the ocean!! We got some ice-cream in the hot Galveston heat, and then met our friends for dinner at Rain Forrest Cafe. The boys were all so so tired that they all fell asleep on the way there. We arrived 20 min early so Jaaf took a little cat nap. After a crazy dinner we went and ate some snow cones by the beach and watched Brooke do this amazing bungee thing!! After the snow cone we walked around on the beach again and watched the little fish jump out of the water! The boys thought it was hilarious!
