As Jaxson would say, "Seriously people... Seriously!!!" I mean where in the world has the time gone?? My baby boy is 2!!! He is 2 going on 10! He thinks and tries to do everything that his older brothers do! God must have an army of angels surrounding my Jett Jett at all times of the day because this boy is full of pushing it to the edge! He will try anything and has absolutely no concept or grasp on consequences! Trust me he has suffered many consequences from falling off of tables he climbed on, landing on his head because he was trying to jump from the couch to the coffee table. Running and jumping into the deep end of the pool when Jaaf and I weren't there yet to catch him! The kid doesn't care! He keeps on doing it!! We will probably have to keep this baby boy active and stimulated for the rest of his life! He will probably end up being a pro athlete for the X games, or a nascar driver!! Either way the kid is going to give me a heart attack one day!!! =) For as crazy and wild as my baby boy is, he is also full of sweetness! He loves his momma and loves his daddy so much! He loves to give us hugs and kisses all the time, which I gladly take!!!
Jett LOVES Veggie Tales right now and can actually quote a whole movie, Little Joe, to be exact! He is very musically inclined! He hears a song on the radio and already starts to memorize the words and signs it around the house!! It has so encouraged me to feed him God's word so that he can start memorizing it! If I could somehow put the whole Bible to one big musical song, the kid would probably have it memorized in a week!
Jett still loves to eat and loves to eat like a big boy! He wants the same kind of cups and utensils that the boys use, not baby ones!! So here are a few cute things that I love to hear my baby boy say.
"Where are my bebops!!" (flip flops!)
At the dinner table he says, "Pray, dear God Amen!!" He bows his cute little head and clasps his hands together!!
Jett Jett has started to tattle! The problem is, he should be tattling on himself, but instead he makes it look like his brothers have done the offense! One day I watched as Jett was playing with the boys and went up and just hit Jantzen on the head! Jett ran to me and said, "Jantzy hit Jett Jett!" I knew what happened and made Jett go to his room. Then when I went in there to talk to him about what he did, I asked him, "Why are you in trouble!" He replied, "Momma Jantzy hit me!!" Then he gives you this big ornery smile!! I try so hard not to laugh every time this happens and I usually have to have a blanket or use my shirt to put over my mouth so he doesn't see me laughing at him! We always make the boys apologize and ask for forgiveness and then give hugs!! I love seeing Jett start to understand the process!!!
We are still working on our famous tantrums! I say famous, because I think Hollywood would be impressed with his drama!! I know it is just a season, but praying this season is short!!!
Jett Jett you are precious! You already have so many amazing talents that God has given you! We can't wait to see how God is going to use you to do great things!! We love you sweet boy and are oh so very thankful for you!!!!
This boy LOVES to drink out of bottles! He puts his whole mouth around it and drinks it! It is funny to watch him drink out of the big gatorade bottles!
Jett loves to swing! This pic makes it look like he has no legs!
I mean look at this big toddler!! I can't believe he is not a little baby anymore!
There is just nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!!! He loves his blankie and must have it in order to sleep! Thankfully we are done with the passy! Whenever we leave our house Jett says, "Bye Bye Blankie!!"
My precious precious boy always wants to be close to his momma!! He loves to sit in my lap! I love it when I am standing and Jett runs up to me and hugs my legs!! He loves to give big hug and kisses!! This little stinker also LOVES to eat anything off my plate!!!
My sweet Jett LOVES to have at least two of whatever he is eating!! One for each hand! Who wouldn't love 2 popsicles or 2 suckers!!!
This was the only way to entertain my Jett while I was trying to get ready!!! I think this will be a great graduation slide show one day!!
Jett in deep thought about what he should paint!! This boy is constantly in the coloring cabinet getting out paints, markers, crayons, and paper! He says, "Jett color!!" when he wants to color!
Jett love to mimic his brothers almost at all times!! I told the boys the other day to play the quiet game while I was getting groceries so that maybe Jett would stop his yelling, but no such luck!!
Jett loves to sit on his brothers and loves for them to take him on a horsey ride!
Jett had a bottle pop sucker and managed to open the part that had the sugar in it! He then began to throw the sugar all over the place while laughing hysterically!
On a funny note, when Jett sees a Starbucks he says, "Daddy Starbucks!!!" It is sad that even Jett sees Jaaf's addiction to Starbucks!
