I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,
and I have remained faithful.
2 Timothy 4:7
I am so so proud of my boys. This year both boys signed up to be in runners club! Last year neither one of them wanted to be a part of it. They did run the 1 miles last year and basically cried the whole time because it was so awful. We told them that the training would have helped! So this year they both were really excited to join running club! Jaxson told me that this year he wanted to try all the clubs and be more involved! I am very proud of him! He also pushed himself and ran the 5k! I tried and tried to talk him out of it because it was a warm 19 degrees outside during the race, but he really wanted to finish it! I was so proud of both of them for setting a goal and accomplishing it!! Jantzen finished the 1 mile in 11 mins and Jaxson and Jaaf finished the 5k in 36 mins!! I was beyond proud!!!
Trying to stay warm before the race!
Daddy ran with both boys!! Way to go DAD!
Getting excited!
High five from older brother!
Running with friends makes it so much more fun!
And they're off!
YAY Jantzen finished the race!
Daddy and Jantz at the finish line!
Sweet friends Austin and Maddie!
Now it's Jaxson and Dad's turn!!
And they're off!
Almost to the finish line!
Looking good!!!
Almost done with your first 5k!!
And they finished!!!! YAY!
Poor Jax it hit him like a ton of bricks, but HE DID IT!!!!!! I was so proud of him!! He couldn't talk for about 30 minutes!! But he did it!
Proud of my boys. They did a great job and they look great!!!
But I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
