Jaxson the Parent!!

Ever since we brought little Jett home from the hospital Jaxson has stepped up and taken on the role of a little parent! It is like he grew up over night. He not only has been a little parent to Jett, but he is more loving and more sensitive in helping Jantzen! He feels so proud when he is my big helper. He loves to hold Jett for me, he loves to do Jett's dirty laundry, and he loves to give Jett his bath. When I change Jett's diaper, Jax will get a chair and pull it close to the changing table and he will talk to Jett the whole time and tell him, "Don't worry, mommy's almost done!" He now has been trying to help give Jantzen his bath. Here is a conversation that the two older boys had today:

Jaxson, "Okay Jantzy do you want to take a bath!"

Jantz, "Well sure!"

Jaxson, "OK little buddy time to wash your face!"

Jantz, "OK Jaxson!"

Jaxson, "OK bud lets wash our body!"

Jantz, "OK Jaxson!"

Jaxson, "OK two more mins Jantz! Good job Jantz, you got dry all by yourself!"

Jantz, "Oh Jaxson!"

It has been such a joy watching my big boys take on the role of "Big Brother" They both have been such big helpers with baby Jett! In 4 weeks time the boys have yet to complain about Jarrett crying! Even when he is screaming at the top of his lungs during the boys favorite show! They just softly tell him, "it's going to be OK!" The boys have yet to show an ounce of jealousy! They are just truly in love with their little brother! I was so worried that Jett would be left out, or that they boys would want much to do with him since he is so much younger than they are, but it is just the opposite! They want him to be everywhere they are! Jarrett is one lucky little guy to have two amazing brother's that love him so much!! What a blessing and gift the Lord has given us! Thank you Lord for my sweet precious little boys! I am forever grateful and thankful for them!
