Good Friday!

What an amazing Friday it was! A day that would change our lives forever! The Curtain was broken, we now have complete and full access to God! We are welcomed into the Holy of Holies! We now have forgiveness of sins because we have a Savior who was sacrificed for our sins! Oh it just makes we want to fall to my knees and praise Him for His Goodness, His Faithfulness, His Lovingkindness, His Everlasting Love, I could go on forever!!!!
On Good Friday we give up something for the day to remember what Jesus sacrificed for us. We also look forward to the Stations of the Cross at HHBC. It is different stations that you can go to to get a full sensory experience. It starts with washing your hands, then leads you to the Garden of Gethsemane, then to 30 pieces of silver, and so on.. all leading you to the final days of Jesus on the Earth, and ultimately to the cross.
After we went to the stations of the cross, we went and spent the day at the zoo looking at all God has created! It was a beautiful day and a great time with the family!
My sweet Jantzen looking at the picture of Jesus carrying His cross. Jantzen's response to the story was, "Boy, those guards were like, 'We probably shouldn't have done that!!' after Jesus died and the earth went dark and started shaking." My favorite thing Jantzen said last year was, "Ahh poor Jesus, He has holes in his hands and his footsies."
Here are my boys looking at the Garden of Gethsemane!
I love this picture! Sweet Jett was laughing so hard at these birds! The bird actually snip at his little finger and he thought it was funny!
The boys got to brush a donkey. I thought it was pretty cool that they got to see in real life what Jesus rode in on his Triumphal Entry on Palm Sunday!
Jett was laughing at the goats!
My 3 big boys!!!!
My sweet Jantzen playing in the water at the new Children's area at the zoo!
Jaxson was pretending to be asleep like our little Jett!
The boys loved watching these two black bears fight!
2 tuckered out little boys!!! After the zoo Jax said his favorite part of the day was going to the Church! He said he enjoyed the scents station (oils, incense, and different fragrances they used on Jesus!) of the Cross the best.
We ended our night with our sweet friends the Shipley's!
