Today was Meet the Teacher Day! There was so much anticipation and excitement building for this day. I was so anxious to know who Jaxson's new teacher was, what the room looked like, who his new friends would be, and so on. As we sat in the Kindergarten orientation I was just overloaded with information from that point on I was just in a fog for the day. We went to go see who Jax got for a teacher and at first I was a little upset because it was not the teacher I really wanted him to have. Then the Lord had to remind me over and over that His ways are greater and better than my ways! I know the Lord has Jaxson in this class for a reason and I am excited to see what God will do in his class. The rest of the day I was just a mess! I think it hit me after we met his teacher that this is really happening! My baby is really going off to Kindergarten! He was so sweet that day and gave me hundred hugs. Every time he would hug me I would just start crying. He was also so sweet to his little brother and made him a necklace of all his favorite things so that Jantz would be sad when he was at school. I love his tender heart! We were praying over him that night and as I was praying I just lost it and started to cry! I had to have Jaaf finish my prayer for me!! I know my Jax will do great, and I have full assurance that the Lord has Jax in His hands, but I love my boy and will miss him dearly!
Jaxson had a great time at meet the teacher and loved his classroom!! Here are some of the pics from the day!

On our way! He was a bit excited!

The teacher sent us on a scavenger hunt to get familiar with the room. Jax found his name tag!

Here is the smart board! It is awesome, you touch it and it changes letters! Jax loved this!

Playing outside of the school!

Jaxson's Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Nelson!
Jaxson and the necklaces he made! After Jax made Jantz one, Jantzen wanted to make him a necklace.
Jaxson is putting Ready Confetti under all of our pillows that he got from his teacher! She gave all her students ready confetti with a cute poem talking about the confetti helps them to sleep so that they will be ready for school.
Jaxson strategically placed all of his confetti under his pillow!
