It is that time of year again! It seems as thought this year it just snuck up on me. I am little behind on everything, but trying to enjoy this season with my boys and the whole reason why we celebrate! The other night after the boys birthday parties we put up Christmas! Here are some pics below of our fun night!
The boys putting up their nativity scenes in their rooms! I love how they set them up. Jantzen put his in a straight line, because he said they were all looking for the star. Jax put his all in a circle with baby Jesus in the middle, because he said everyone needs to look at baby Jesus!!
Little Jett got in on the action! He was mainly taking the ornaments off, not putting them on!
This is one of my favorite traditions that we do every year. Our two most important things we put n the tree is a huge nail and a crown of thorns. We have each boy put one of them on the tree. Jax wanted the nail. For the nail you must find a very important spot on the tree where everyone can see it and be reminded of the purpose and reason why Christ was born.
Jantzen got to put the crown of thorns on. We put this on the very top of our tree to also be a constant reminder of why we celebrate Christmas. It is because of God's great gift that we can all have everlasting life with Him! Praise God for the gift of Jesus!!!

Every year we let the boys decorate their own Christmas trees. As you can see Jaxson's is so loaded with ornaments that you cannot even see that the color of his tree is red! Jaxson took a very long time on his tree and wanted it to look just right!! The boys helped Jett with his baby blue Christmas tree!!
