Memphis Monday

Happy St Patty's Day!!! Today we are going to explore the Memphis zoo. It is one of the top 5 zoos in the country! We are excited cause we get to see polar bears, penguins, panda bears, and so much more. It is FREEZING, but we are going to brave through it.

Jett in his Green Gear!

Welcome to the Memphis zoo!!!
It is a warm 45 with 15 mph winds!! =)

The zoo had awesome exhibits.
This was a nice log cabin with a warm fire for you to sit next to while watching the grizzly bears.
The sea lion show was great. There were 5 other people there!!!
The boys loved this sea lion.

And the Polar Bears!!! This guy kept doing this strange moon walk dance. I asked the zoo keeper and she said it was mating season and he was trying to impress the female. He needed a little more help on his moves!

I seriously could watch this all day! It was amazing watching him catch the fish with his huge paws.

So so awesome.
He needed to sit and rest for a bit!

Jett kept calling his St. Patrick's headband his antlers, so when he saw this elk he yelled, "Hey look at my antlers!!!' The Elk was not amused!
It's penguin time!!

The super large python!
This guy was creepy!

Feeding time!!
The cute panda that Jett wanted to take home!
China town!
Sleeping Panda!
We got to drive by St. Judes and we prayed for all the kiddos, the doctors, and staff as we drove by.
This is the hotel where Martin Luther King Jr. was shot and killed.
We are standing outside his hotel room and these are his cars that were here  when it happened.
