River Boat and the Incline

On this day we got to ride on a river boat down the Tennessee River. It was mainly just to say we did it, because it wasn't our fav of the trip! The boys did however say that they loved going under the bridges, getting to see awesome bird nests on the island, and getting a gold coin from the pirate aboard our ship! After the Boat ride we went to Rock City and then the Incline! The incline was AWESOME and took us up Look Out Mountain at a 72 degree angle. It only went 10 mph but it was pretty amazing. Once we were up on top we walked to the civil war battle grounds Point Place. It is one of the only monuments that honors both the union and the confederates. We got to see the battle grounds and old cannons. And the view was pretty unreal as well.
The famous river boat!

Meeting the Captain, "Pirate"

Ready to start this adventure

I told them to be good or they would have to walk the plank
My precious boys!
It was a bit cold on the water!
The pretty landscape!

We found some turtles!
The bridges

The incline!!
We got a front row seat and then the conductor let me sit right next to the door for better pics!!
Here is a trolly on its way down

It was super steep and pretty amazing
At the battle grounds!
Fire in the hole!! You can not tell but right where Jaxson is standing is a complete drop off. They did not plan well for kiddos. We were constantly telling the boys to step back!!

Time for some relaxing swimming time at the pool until a mom and her 7 kids showed up!! =)
Happy Early Birthday dad!!!!
Watching the ou game on his iPhone! Not a great way to start your birthday.
