"Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. "It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.' " The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them."
Matthew 21:12-14
We have the most precious little boys you will ever meet. There are so many things they say and do that make us laugh and stand in awe of our Heavenly Father! We wanted to be able to keep a blog of it all, kind of like an online scrapbook!! "The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." Psalm 126:3

Jesus in Jerusalem
So today would be the day that Jesus went into Jerusalem to discover all of the vending and deceit that was going on in the court yard of the Temple! This is when Jesus became angry and cleaned out all that was not suppose to be in His Father's house! Can you even imagine what that must of been like?? Can you imagine going to your father's house and there were people there doing things that should not be doing, or imagine going to your church and finding the same!
Anyways, I told the boys that today was a day that Jesus got rid of all the bad and cleaned out the temple. Once it was clean, then He began to teach, and the people listened!
I thought, how could I let the boys experience this. So I decided that we would paint! We painted Easter Eggs, we painted Easter plates, we even painted a tomb that will be used later in the week, but we painted so much that we could not see the color of our skin on our hands.
When Jaxson looked down and saw how messy he was, he was ready to wash his hands. So I took him into the bathroom and said, "See all of this paint, see how messy and dirty it is??" He said, "Yes." I said, "Well this is what the Temple looked like to Jesus, it was dirty and messy, and not how our Heavenly Father intended it to be! So Jesus came and he cleaned out the Temple so that it would be a Holy Place again!" I went on to say that, "When we sin and do bad things, our lives start to look like this mess! But since Jesus died for us, He gave us forgiveness and washes us clean, just like this soap is washing off the paint!" So Jaxson said, "So jesus is like soap!" "Exactly!" I said!!!
