So Spy Wednesday was the day that Judas took the 30 pieces of silver to tell where Jesus was. So today we were spy's! I hid 30 eggs all over our house and in each egg was a piece of silver. The boys had a great time trying to find all of the eggs. I would give them clues to find the eggs. After we found the eggs, we opened them up and counted the silver to make sure we had 30 pieces. I told the boys that Judas took the silver to turn in Jesus, and that what he did was not very nice. I asked the boys if we could give Jesus our 30 pieces of silver. And they said of course! SO we went to the church and put it in the offering. The boys saw the cross at the front of the church and said, "Look a cross, just like Jesus!" So we went down toward the cross and knelt sown to pray. The boys both wanted to say a little prayer. Jaxson prayed, "Dear God, thank you for this beautiful day, thank you for the cross." Jantzen prayed, "Dear God, thank you mommy daddy!" I just know the Lord smiles when He hears His children call out His name! It is so precious to me, so I can't even begin to imagine how precious it is to our Heavenly Father.
“So Jesus called the children over to him and said, "Let the children come to me! Don't try to stop them. People who are like these children belong to God's kingdom. You will never get into God's kingdom unless you enter it like a child!"
