Christmas Eve!

Our normal Christmas Eve is usually spent with my family! We go to a Christmas Eve service, and then head to one of our homes for dinner and opening presents! This year the Blizzard of 2009 came blowing in and canceled those plans. The fun thing was to make up so new fun things to do! The Christmas Eve Service was canceled, so Praise the Lord that our Church does live on-line services! We got to have our own Christmas eve service in our warm home! It was amazing worship and a short little message! Jaxson and I got to enjoy the fresh snow coming down! Even though it was 0 degrees outside, Jax and I had a fun little snowball fight and then ran inside to get warm. We went back out again for about 10 min, or until we couldn't feel our hands! I love that my oldest boy is so much like me, and loves to play in the snow! We also spent the day making our Birthday cake for Jesus and some reindeer food. We had to make an extra huge batch of reindeer food since it was so snowy!! We ended the day letting the boys open up the gifts they bought each other, and one gift from us, and then we all put on our Christmas PJ's and read the Christmas story from the boys new Bibles that they got from us that night.

We opened the back door to let boomer out and just assumed he would jump the snow pile, but NO, he decided to get on top of the snow and dig a hole! ALL of the snow came into the house! The boys thought it was hilarious!
