Bragging Rights!

So my husband is one of the most humble men I know. It is one of the first things that attracted me to him! He would not want me bragging on him, but I just have to. He is one of the hardest workers I know. Not only does he work diligently at his job, he helps me out so much with our precious boys, he helps me clean, and he ALWAYS helps me with the laundry, (my most hated chore!) He is an amazing man, and I am so so blessed that he is mine!
So here is where the bragging rights come in. Jaaf has been with his current company for almost 4 years now. We are so thankful for his job, but it does require him to travel a lot. There are perks to his job like being able to work from home all summer long and during holidays! There have been times that it has been so hard to be away from each other, that we didn't think we could do it much longer. But the Lord has constantly told us that this is where He wants us right now. Jaaf has stuck with it and worked as hard as he can to provide for us. I am forever thankful for that.
There has been this one project that he has been working on for about 18 months now. The current author was with another publisher, so Jaaf just tried to keep a relationship with him, just in case he ever wanted to switch to Kendal-Hunt, (Jaafar's company). So about a month ago Jaaf got an email that he wanted to talk again to Jaaf about the possibility of switching publishing companies. I'll save you the details, but basically after many conferences, a trip to the home office with the new authors, and a plane ride conversation home, Jaaf got the deal signed! After they get all of the adoptions in place, it will be the biggest deal that his company has ever had! I am SO SO SO PROUD that my man was the one who got this deal! He is amazing! He is a man full of integrity and has kept his faith in this corporate world. He has been a testimony for the Lord every week he is on campus, and the Lord has used him in many ways! I am excited to see how God will continue to use him and bless him through his job.
The Lord has been so faithful to provide through Jaaf at his job! The Lord has been so sweet to answer so many prayers concerning this one project! All glory and honor are due to our Savior!
Thank you Lord for Your faithfulness!

We are so proud of both of you...you could not do what you do without Jaaf and he could not do what he does without you! You are a good team! And God has blessed your faithfulness. Jaafar, your testimony reminds me of the scripture that talks about Christ (not that I am comparing you to Christ!!!) and how He grew in favor with God and man! We love you!
