We have the most precious little boys you will ever meet. There are so many things they say and do that make us laugh and stand in awe of our Heavenly Father! We wanted to be able to keep a blog of it all, kind of like an online scrapbook!! "The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." Psalm 126:3

The Last Supper
Thursday was the day that Jesus had His final meal on Earth with His disciples before His crucifixion. Today I just read the story with the boys and explained it all to them. Jaxson said, "Boy, its a good thing Jesus ate dinner before He died!" The boys have really been asking lots of questions this week like, "Why did people want to kill Jesus?" or "Why did they not believe He was God's Son?" It has been such a joy and honor to be able to talk with them about these life changing questions!
This year I was going to make some traditional passover meals for our family. I bought all of the things and even had the passover muffins made! Then I got a call from my husband who had been in a terrible wreck in the middle of all the Oklahoma Wildfires! My mother had to drive about 45 mins to pick him up and take him to the ER. I then met him there at the hospital. A few hours later, he checked out OK. He will just be pretty sore from getting hit a few times. We decided to fore go the passover meal and pick up Chilli's!! The Lord knows our hearts! We still had a wonderful, "Last Supper!" Above all we were so thankful to our God that He protected our Daddy!!! Thank you Jesus!!!! We could not make it with out him!!!
That night while we were putting the boys to bed, we read them the story about Jesus and his 3 closest disciples at the garden of Gethsemane. The boys told us that the disciples must of been really sleepy to keep falling asleep. Then we went on to tell them about how Jesus go arrested and Judas came and gave Jesus a kiss on the cheek. The boys thought it was pretty cool that Peter cut the guards ear off and then Jesus put it back on. This is when the boys kept asking, "Why did they take Him away?" We let the boys know that the story does not end here! It has the best ending you could ever ask for!!
