So not only did we get a mini van, but my son had his first soccer game this weekend!!! He is on a non-competitive team that just has 6 games. They practice before the game, and then at half time they have a devotion about team work!! We thought this league would be best for Jaxson's first team sport. This will just help him to understand the concept of working with a team and getting the hang of it instead of worrying about the competition.
Jaxson was getting really excited the morning of his game and told us that he was going to score 200 goals! Jaaf told him that it is exciting if you can just score 1 goal! Then Jax upped it to 500 goals! About half way through the game he ran over to me and said, "Whew mom, this is harder than I thought!!"
He had a great game, and had lots of fun! He assisted in a couple of goals, and boy did he cheer for his team when they did score! It was so much fun to see his excitement! Here are some pics from the game!!!
