We have the most precious little boys you will ever meet. There are so many things they say and do that make us laugh and stand in awe of our Heavenly Father! We wanted to be able to keep a blog of it all, kind of like an online scrapbook!! "The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." Psalm 126:3

Daniel Fast week 1 and part of week 2 update!
So I am not posting this for people to read about, and it is not for my glory, but only to HIs glory! I am posting things about the fast for our family so that we can remember what God did and to give Him all the glory! The first week was a roller coster ride. The Lord has been showing us and reminding us that He is in control! Everyday we need to surrender our lives to HIm turn it over and allow Him to do the work in us that He wants to do! The thing I keep saying over and over is Lord, consume me! Just consume me!! We have had some ups and downs with our rent house and are just praying that God would bring renters to us soon. I really have not been extremely hungry, I think the hardest thing is making my kiddos dinner or lunch! Let me tell you that Mac and Cheese has never looked better!!! One day this week, Jaaf found $100, that we had misplaced, when he was cleaning his office!! It was a sweet blessing from the Lord!! This fast has just taught me that I need to be completely dependent upon Him. I am praying these next 2 weeks will be full of Him.
I went to my first BSF meeting and boy was it crazy! The weather was a warm 13 degrees outside with a nice wind! After freezing our tooshies off walking from the car to the inside of the church I took my Jett to his classroom and he only screamed NOOOOO a few times, so I felt like that was a success! Then I went and met my small group and they all seemed really nice! Then we went in for the lesson time. While we were sitting there the power went off. My first thought was Jett! I just knew he would be screaming! Then the lights came back on!!! Then about 5 min later a lady came in and said we needed to evacuate the building! Again my first thought was Jett and I needed to go and get him. They told us that the babies already evacuated a while ago and they are somewhere outside! If you can only imagine this HUGE church FULL of women standing outside in the freezing cold, it was crazy! So I am trying to find my baby b/c it is cold and b/c I have his coat!!!! So I finally find him on the opposite side of the church and by the time I get to him he is FREEZING!! His little hands were bright ride and he was trying to move them, but couldn't because they were frozen! He just kept screaming MOMMY! We got his hands warm when we got home! He was miserable! I am just praying he forgets about it so that he won't be scared to go next week! All in all it was a crazy first BSF, but I know that the Lord is going to teach me so much through it and I am just eager to learn!

Satan sure works hard to throw up those road blocks! Greater is HE that is in me, than he that is in the world!
My mother and sister-in-law love BSF. I mean love it!! I am thinking of doing it next year. It is a intensive study, but stick with it. I think you will love it!
